2010 will be remembered by numerous success stories which are both monumental and instrumental for further development and growth of this college. Notable among things are the following:

A significant number of lecturing staff was employed
Training of staff in various sections was intensified
Increased attainments of equity targets
Increased efficacy regarding management of budget allocations
Oversight on processes and procedures for good governance was strengthened
More partnerships were established and a wider programs quality mix was attained
Enrollment of student s increased in both NCV and 191 programs
More leanerships and skills programs for 18.1 and 18.2 were offered
Increased number of women and differently-abled  students  were enrolled in various programs
CAPEX funding  which was provided increased opportunities to improve infrastructure for teaching and learning  and administration

These give hope that the college will increasingly contribute significantly in providing required knowledge and skills which will assist to address current levels of unemployment and poverty in the country at large.

From experience Flavius Mareka FET College does acknowledge that more determined efforts to have functional curriculum for purposes of intensifying technical and vocational training has become a reality which cannot be underestimated. However, this calls for teacher education and training that is better focused on this field among important factors.
